Pandorea jasminoides 'Rosea Superba'Pandorea come from Australia and make some of the best conservatory climbers. An evergreen twiner this vigorous plant flowers best if the roots are restricted in a pot, it also performs better if indoors for at least the colder months. If kept outdoors it will flower sporadically July to November (min -2c) but indoors it will bear large trusses of pink flowers with darker pink eyes from March to late December. The shiny leaves are resistant to white fly and red spider. It also does not seem to mind growing right up under the glass. Apart from the flower colour I can see little difference between this and other forms of Pandorea jasminoides, both the flower size and season seem very similar. Pandorea jasminoides 'Rosea Superba' is a selected form going back many years and is a conservatory classic. |
