Pandorea jasminoides albaPandorea come from Australia and make some of the best conservatory climbers. An evergreen twiner Pandorea jasminoides alba is a vigorous white form of this plant and flowers best if the roots are restricted in a pot, it also performs better if indoors for at least the colder months. If kept outdoors (on a south wall) it will flower sporadically July to November (min -2c) but indoors it will bear large trusses of white flowers from March to late December. The shiny leaves are resistant to white fly and red spider. It also does not seem to mind growing right up under the glass. Apart from the flower colour I can see little difference between this and other forms both the flower size and season seem very similar. |
