Clematis 'Pagoda'

Pale pinky mauve hanging bells from July to September. This lovely variety is a hybrid of C. viticella and C. 'Etoile Rose (itself part viticella) so despite its appearing to belong in the texensis camp I put it with our viticella collection. Hard prune in spring. Any aspect, but avoid poor air circulation as mildew can become a problem. Worth the effort it's very pretty.

Clematis 'Pagoda' was raised by John Treasure in 1980
