Buddleja lindleyana

A suckering shrub which although evergreen tends to lose its leaves during winter in the UK climate. The flowers are borne on the shoot tips in summer and are dark purple tubes, at a glance Buddleja lindleyana is not Buddleja like at all! Very attractive. Introduced from China in 1843 (min -8c) easy to grow.
