Rosa 'American Pillar'

The flowers are carmine pink with a white eye, once very popular, now its lack of scent goes against it. It should still be considered for its ability to be very vigorous in any aspect and put up with poor soil, it is also one of the brightest of the ramblers. Bred by Van Fleet in the USA in 1902 (R. wichuriana x R. setigera) X a red hybrid perpetual.
