Pillar'
The flowers are
carmine pink with a white eye, once very popular, now its lack of
scent goes against it. It should still be considered for its
ability to be very vigorous in any aspect and put up with poor
soil, it is also one of the brightest of the ramblers. Bred by
Van Fleet in the USA in 1902 (R. wichuriana x R. setigera) X a
red hybrid perpetual.
