Jasminum x stephanenseThis hybrid Jasmine has pink scented flowers in summer; the young growth is often variegated. In the UK it is deciduous. Jasminum x stephanense needs to be in full light to flower well. It looks best if allowed to be a good size. Claimed as a hybrid by Lemoine of France in 1920 (between Jasminum beesianum with red flowers and Jasminum officinale with white scented flowers) but it is also found in the wild in those countries containing both parent species such as western China A.M. 1937. Hardy. |
