'Aljonushka'
Clematis 'Aljonushka' is one of a growing number of Clematis integrifolia hybrids gaining in popularity due to their hardy nature and lack of wilting. C. 'Aljonushka' has pretty pink hanging bell flowers on a non climbing plant, height about 2M (6'), can be used in any aspect and hard pruned in Spring. Bred at the Botanic gardens in the Crimea in 1963. Aljonushka (a girls name in Russia) can be found spelt in several different ways. The stems do need some support as they can't attach and it can be grown through shrubs or structures |
