Buddleja
madagascariensis
Tall evergreen shrub
with white/grey felty leaves and scented orange yellow flowers
all winter, although grown in a few gardens outside in Cornwall,
Buddleja madagascariensis does best in the UK as a conservatory
plant. It is a typical Buddleja in that it tolerates poor soils
and dry conditions. As the name implies it comes from Madagascar
and arrived in the UK in 1827 (min 0c)
