Hoya carnosa

Hoya carnosa is an evergreen climber, which grips by twining and aerial roots. Night scented waxy flowers appear in bunches in summer. Needs protection in the UK, grows in sun or semi shade. (min +1c) according to the books, mine however does well in an unheated conservatory in full shade, where it grows in a very small pot. The leaves are succulent in texture and shiny and suffer few problems

Originally from eastern Asia but now found all over the world
